THE HUMAN TOUCH

More than 70% of the staff are local. La Roqqa promotes local employment and professional growth through progressive training programmes.

FOOD AS A RESOURCE

La Roqqa cooperates with CARITAS to ensure that unused food finds its way to those who need it on a daily basis.

ORTO GIUSTO

A social cooperative in Orbetello that employs young people with disabilities to grow organic fruit and vegetables. La Roqqa obtains fresh produce from ORTO GIUSTO as well as actively supporting the project.

WATER as a RESOURCE

La Roqqa is plastic-free. We provide guests with aluminium flasks that can be refilled directly in one’s room or in the lobby from special filtered water taps.

ELECTRIC MOBILITY

La Roqqa uses electric vehicles for guest transfers.

SUSTAINABLE MATERIALS

All La Roqqa furnishings are certified and traceable in terms of sustainable materials.

Guest experience Team

The La Roqqa Guest Experience Team is on hand with bespoke experiences expertly tailored to each guest.

There is something for everyone, whether you’re in the mood for a personalised workout with an expert trainer in the mezzanine indoor gym; guided biking and hiking tours of Monte Argentario or Giglio island; a range of watersports; waterfront Yoga lessons at the Isolotto Beach Club; tennis and golf sessions at nearby clubs; horse riding in the Uccellina Park; a visit to the ancient Roman archeological site of Cosa, with a spectacular view over the Ansedonia headland; a stroll through some of the Maremma region’s most spectacular old towns; a tasting tour of local wineries; a dive into local arts and crafts; private, skippered boat trips exploring the coast of Argentario and the nearby islands of Giglio and Giannutri.
